The Filipino B-Boy Prodigy

The Filipino B-Boy Prodigy

Remember this kid? It’s probably hard because you’re seeing his face upside down. He’s one of the two kids who played brothers in Rudimental’s “Not Giving In music video which was shot here in Manila.

If you haven’t watched the video yet, we’ve made it easier for you so don’t you dare not press PLAY. There are literally so many things to love – the story, the characters, the dance, the cinematography, the relativity to the situation of society, you name it.

His name is Allen Añas, 12 years old as of this post. He won the latest True Hip Hop Elements (T.H.E.) Grind dance competition, and he’s going to be representing the Philippines in the upcoming Red Bull BC One Asia-Pacific Finals in Fukuoka, Japan this coming October.

Allen’s the youngest participant in the said event and is now being given the title of being The Filipino B-Boy Prodigy.
